ITAT: Re-Assessment on Wrong Assumption And Information From Another Assessing Officer Invalid - (16 May 2022)

DIRECT TAXATION

Income Tax Appellate Tribunal (ITAT), Mumbai has ruled that the reopening of assessment based on wrong assumption and information received from another assessing officer shall be treated as invalid.
