Kerala HC: Land Used For Cultivating Long Duration Crops Not Ecologically Fragile - (28 Apr 2022)

ENVIRONMENT

Kerala High Court has ruled that the land primarily used for the cultivation of crops of long duration can’t be stated as ecologically fragile land under the Kerala Forest (Vesting and Management of Ecologically Fragile Lands) Act, 2003 even if it is encircled by vested forests.
