Premature redemption of a part of outstanding stock of Non-interest bearing Government of India IDBI Special Security, 2024- (Ministry of Finance ) (31 Mar 2022)

Government of India, hereby notifies further premature redemption on Non-interest bearing Government of India IDBI Special Security, 2024 (hereinafter briefly described as "the Special Security") by exercising "call option" at par as stipulated in para 5(ii) of its Notification F. No. 4(16)-W&M/2004 dated September 29, 2004, for an aggregate amount of Rupees One hundred eighteen crore (Rs. 118.00 crore) [nominal].

2. Date of Premature Redemption.--

The date of premature redemption of the Special Security by the Government of India shall be the date of this notification i.e. March 31, 2022.

3. Outstanding Stock.--

The outstanding stock of the Special Security shall be Rupees two thousand six hundred thirty three crore and seventy three lakhs only (Rs. 2,633.73 crore) [nominal] after the exercise of call option.
