NGT Asks Petrochemical Companies to Pay Compensation for Marine Pollution in North Chennai - (25 Mar 2022)

ENVIRONMENT

National Green Tribunal (NGT) has asked Manali Petrochemicals Ltd., Tamilnadu Petrochemicals Ltd., and Kothari Petrochemicals Ltd. to pay an interim environmental compensation of Rs. 2 crore, Rs. 1 crore and Rs.10 lakh respectively for causing marine pollution in north Chennai.
