Karnataka HC: Man Cannot Escape Trial for Rape Only Because Victim is Wife - (25 Mar 2022)

CRIMINAL

Karnataka High Court has said that a man cannot escape trial for rape only because the victim is his wife, stating that a brutal act of sexual assault on the wife, against her consent, albeit by the husband, cannot but be termed to be rape.
