SC Refuses Petition Seeking Abolition of Death Sentence - (15 Mar 2016)

SC has refused to re-examine Constitutional validity of death sentence in light of evolving jurisprudence across world to do away with extreme punishment and dismissed a plea seeking abolition of capital punishment.
