#Union Budget 2022-2023: Finance Minister Informs on Central Bank Digital Currency - (01 Feb 2022)

BANKING

Finance Minister has stated that the introduction of a central bank digital currency will give boost to digital economy leading to cheaper currency management system. Blockchain and other technologies will be used by RBI to issue the same from 2022.
