Karnataka HC Enhances Compensation for Death of 2Yrs Old in Motor Accident - (20 Jan 2022)

Karnataka High Court has enhanced the compensation granted by the Motor Accidents Claim Tribunal (MACT) to a couple who lost their 2-year old daughter in an accident, observing that the amount awarded to the parents is the compensation for loss of love, affection, care and companionship of the deceased child.
