Delhi High Court Upholds Conviction Of Accused Charged With Rape Under POCSO Act - (10 Jan 2022)

Delhi High Court has upheld the conviction to a man for raping a 5 year old minor victim in a POCSO case. The Court held that presence of the semen is not necessary and penetration is sufficient in order to constitute an offence under Section 376 of IPC and Section 6 of the POCSO Act.
