NHRC Issues Show Cause Notice to Commissioner of Delhi Police Against Illegal Arrest - (07 Jan 2022)

National Human Rights Commission has issued a notice to the Commissioner of Police, Delhi, as to why compensation of Rs. 1,00,000/- should not be given to the complainant for illegal arrest. It also directed for departmental action for not following the guidelines held in DK Basu case.
