Kerala High Court Put Stay on Filling of Paddy and Backwaters for Tourism Project - (09 Mar 2016)

Kerala High Court has stayed Government order to fill vast tract of ecologically sensitive paddy-field and backwaters at Kumarakam in Kottayam, known as methran kayal, for a major tourism project proposed by a private developer.
