CCI: VIOLATION OF COMPETITION LAWS BY ECOMMERCE OPERATORS TO BE DEALT WITH FIRMLY - (27 Dec 2021)

Competition Commission of India has said that any violation of competition law by ecommerce companies will be dealt with firmly. The Commission has asked ecommerce platforms to put in place a set of self-regulatory measures over certain areas, such as search ranking, collection, use, sharing of data, user-review mechanism, revision in contract terms, and discount policy.
