Budget Effects on Professionals - (01 Mar 2016)

In a major relief for professionals and freelancers earning less than Rs 50 lakh per annum, Finance Minister Arun Jaitley has brought them under ambit of presumptive taxation. However he has withdrawn tax exemptions given to lawyers and proposed a 14% tax on services of senior advocates.
