SC: States Not To Deny Ex-Gratia On Ground That Death Cert. Not Mention COVID As Cause Of Death - (04 Oct 2021)

Supreme Court has ordered that no state should deny the ex-gratia compensation of Rs 50,000 to the kin of persons who died of COVID on the sole ground that the death certificate does not mention COVID as the cause of death.
