Chief Justices appointed and justices shuffled - (24 Feb 2016)

Justice Vineet Saran of the Karnataka High Court has been appointed Chief Justice of Orissa High Court. Justice Subhro Kamal Mukherjee, judge of the Karnataka High Court, and Justice Dinesh Maheshwari, judge of the Allahabad High Court, have also been appointed Chief Justices of Karnataka and Meghalaya High Courts, respectively.

Justice Nishitendu Chaudhary, Additional Judge of the Gauhati High Court has been appointed as a Judge of that High Court. Lanusungkum Jamir, and Manash Ranjan Pathak are also appointed Additional Judges of the Gauhati High Court.
