Bombay HC: Touching Cheeks Without Sexual Intent Wouldn't Attract Offence of 'Sexual Assault' - (31 Aug 2021)

CRIMINAL

Bombay High Court has observed that touching the cheeks without sexual intent would not attract the offence of 'sexual assault', as defined under Section 7 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012, while granting bail to a man booked under various offences under POCSO.
