Madras HC: Engaging Teachers for NPR Work Not Against RTE Act - (18 Feb 2016)

Madras HC has held that engaging school teachers to carry out a door-to-door survey for updating National Population Register (NPR) cannot be construed as an act in violation of the provisions of the Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education (RTE) Act, 2009.
