SC Sets Aside Allahabad High Court's Blanket Ban on DJ Services in Uttar Pradesh - (16 Jul 2021)

CIVIL

Supreme Court has set aside the 2019 order of the Allahabad High Court imposing a blanket ban on the use of DJ services in the state of Uttar Pradesh. The Court has issued the direction in plea challenging the ban, filed by multiple persons in the business of providing DJ services on special occasions such as marriage ceremonies and other similar functions.
