SC Directs Union, States to File Status Reports on Vacancies in Central & State Information Commissio - (07 Jul 2021)

SERVICE

Supreme Court has directed Union of India and all States to file status reports on the latest developments regarding vacancies and pendency in the Central Information Commission (CIC) and State Information Commissions (SICs) in a plea seeking directions for the expeditious filling up of vacancies for Information Commissioners in the Central Information Commission and State Information Commission as per the Right to Information Act, 2015.
