Bengaluru Court Directs Former Prime Minister HD Devegowda to Pay Damages in Defamation Suit - (23 Jun 2021)

CRIMINAL

City Civil and Session Court, Bengaluru has directed former Prime Minister HD Devegowda to pay Rs. 2 crore as damages to the Nandi Infrastructure Corridor Enterprises (NICE) for his "defamatory statement" made against the company in an interview given to a Kannada language news channel.
