SC Directs Government on Completion of Registration Process of Unorganized Workers - (25 May 2021)

LABOUR AND INDUSTRIAL

Supreme Court has directed the Central Government and the State Governments to complete the registration process of unorganized workers so that they can avail the welfare benefits given under various government schemes. The Court has also said that it is necessary to have a Common National Database for all unorganised workers situated in different States in the entire country.
