SC: Criminal Case Cannot be Transferred Merely Because Party Doesn’t Understand Language - (13 May 2021)

CRIMINAL

Supreme Court has held that a criminal case cannot be transferred under Section 406 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 merely because the party does not understand the language of the Court which has jurisdiction to hear the case.
