SC: Dying Declaration Must be True and Voluntary to be Considered as Sole Basis for Conviction - (10 May 2021)
LAW OF EVIDENCE
Supreme Court has reiterated that a Court must be satisfied that the dying declaration is true and voluntary, and only then could it be the sole basis for conviction without corroboration.
