Kerala HC: Offence of Assaulting Public Servant Will Not Attract Because Officer is in Uniform - (06 May 2021)

Kerala High Court has allowed a bail petition, observing that simply because a police officer was in uniform, the offence of assaulting a public servant in lawful discharge of his duty under Section 353 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 could not be attracted
