SC Refuses to Entertain PIL Seeking Uniform Age of Retirement for Judges - (12 Apr 2021)

CIVIL

Supreme Court has refused to entertain a Public Interest Litigation seeking uniform age of retirement for judges of the High Court and the Supreme Court. The Court has allowed the petitioner to withdraw the petition and approach the Union Government or the Law Commission of India with a representation in this regard.
