RBI releases results of Consumer Confidence and Inflation Expectations Surveys- (Reserve Bank of India) (03 Feb 2016)

The Reserve Bank of India released the results of its Consumer Confidence Survey and Inflation Expectations Survey of Households for December, 2015. The ‘year ahead’ outlook on economic conditions was better than the positive perceptions on current economic conditions from the year before. Inflation levels were expected to remain ‘more than the current rate’ for prices in general.
