SC Mulls Formation of Committee for Economic Valuation of Trees Felled for Projects - (19 Mar 2021)

ENVIRONMENT

Supreme Court has observed that it will form a Committee for economic valuation of trees which are felled for projects such as highways and bridges, and ask it to submit the report in April. The Court has asked Centre to provide facilities to the Committee including place and secretarial assistance.
