SC: Single Bench Cannot Pass Decree for Dissolution of Marriage While Hearing Transfer Petition - (12 Mar 2021)

Supreme Court has observed that its single bench while hearing a Transfer Petition cannot invoke power under Article 142 of the Constitution of India, 1949 to pass a decree for dissolving a marriage by mutual consent.
