SC Upholds Constitutional Validity of Provisions of Gujarat Provincial Municipal Corporation Act - (25 Feb 2021)

CIVIL

Supreme Court has upheld the constitutional validity of Section 5(3) (iii)(a) and Section 29A of the Gujarat Provincial Municipal Corporation Act, 1949, which provides multi member representation from a Ward in the Municipal Corporation/Municipality.
