NGT to Govt.: Explore Alternatives to Traditional Cremation Modes - (03 Feb 2016)

National Green Tribunal (NGT) has directed Union Environment Ministry and Delhi Government to initiate programmes to provide alternative modes of cremation of human remains, saying the traditional method of burning wood emitted hazardous pollutants in the environment.
