SC Refuses to Entertain Plea Challenging Validity of Religious Conversion Laws - (04 Feb 2021)

CIVIL

Supreme Court has refused to entertain a plea challenging the validity of controversial laws enacted by states, including Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand, which deal with religious conversion by marriage and others, stating that the respective High Courts are already dealing with the petitions.
