Supreme Court Allows Withdrawal of Petitions Challenging "Love Jihad" Ordinance of UP - (03 Feb 2021)

CIVIL

Supreme Court has allowed the withdrawal of two writ petitions challenging the controversial Uttar Pradesh Ordinance on Unlawful Religious Conversions - commonly known as the 'love jihad' ordinance - with liberty to approach the High Court.
