#Union Budget 2021-2022: Union Govt to Create Framework to Tackle Monopoly of Power Distribution - (01 Feb 2021)

POWER AND ENERGY

Union Government proposes to create a framework to allow consumers of electricity alternatives to choose from more than one Distribution Company, in a bid to end monopoly of power distribution. A comprehensive National Hydrogen Mission is being launched for generating hydrogen from green power sources.
