Delhi HC: CPIO Cannot Withhold Information Without Reasonable Cause Under RTI Act - (01 Feb 2021)

RIGHT TO INFORMATION

Delhi High Court has held that the Central Public Information Officer (CPIO) or PIOs cannot withhold information without reasonable cause and that such officers cannot function merely as "post offices" while dealing with information sought under the Right to Information (RTI) Act, 2005.
