J&K HC: Accused Cannot be Kept in Custody Merely Because Accusation of Serious Nature - (05 Jan 2021)

CRIMINAL

Jammu and Kashmir High Court has made it clear that an accused cannot be kept in custody merely for the reason that the offence alleged to have committed by him is of serious nature.
