Calcutta HC Directs DGP to Initiate Inquiry Against IO Who Misused Provisions of CrPC - (04 Dec 2020)

CRIMINAL

Calcutta High Court has directed the Director General of Police to initiate inquiry against the investigating officer, coming down heavily on the police for attempting to harass a citizen by misusing Section 41A of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (CrPC).
