Bombay HC Imposes Fine on Erring Police Officers over Illegally Detaining a Doctor Couple - (25 Jan 2016)

Bombay High Court has imposed a fine of Rs. 50,000 on erring Pune Police Officers, who illegally detained a doctor couple in police custody for 17 days in a crime that was bailable without making out any strong grounds.
