RBI Simplifies Gold Monetisation Scheme - (22 Jan 2016)

Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has simplified Gold Monetisation Scheme (GMS) for bulk depositors, in order to help temple boards to do so and also allowed banks to sell Ashok Chakra-embossed gold coins manufactured by government-owned MMTC under 'India gold coin' scheme.
