SC: Protests Not to Block Public Spaces, Only in Designated Places - (07 Oct 2020)

CIVIL

Supreme Court has held that the Constitution of India, 1949 gives a right to dissent and protest but that such protests cannot occupy public spaces, in a set of Petitions relating to the Shaheen Bagh protests against the Citizenship Amendment Act, 2019.
