Karnataka High Court Stops Appraisal of EIA Report - (24 Sep 2020)

ENVIRONMENT

Karnataka High Court has directed that even if a Final Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) report is filed by Bengaluru Development Authority for appraisal with respect to the eight-lane peripheral road, no steps shall be taken for appraisal thereof as contemplated under the EIA Notification of 2006.
