Chhattisgarh HC Orders 7 Lakhs Compensation for Rape Victim - (04 Sep 2020)

CRIMINAL

Chhattisgarh High Court has held in a Writ Petition that the Rape victim was entitled to compensation of Rs. 7 lakhs along with interest under Section 357-A of the Code of Criminal procedure, 1973 read with Section 33(8) of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, 2012.
