Gujarat HC: Not Mandatory to Hear Victim While Granting Bail in a Bailable Offence - (28 Aug 2020)

Gujarat High Court has held that Courts need not hear the complainant/victim during bail hearings for bailable offences under the Scheduled Castes and Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989.
