NGT Rejects Plea Seeking Demolition of 12 Check Dams in UP - (15 Jan 2016)

National Green Tribunal (NGT) has rejected plea filed by a scientist seeking directions to demolish 12 check dams in western Uttar Pradesh on grounds that they are allegedly contaminating ground water.
