SC Refuses to Grant Interim Bail to Sajjan Kumar in 1984 Anti-Sikh Riots Case - (13 May 2020)

CRIMINAL

Supreme Court has refused to grant interim bail to Ex-congress Member of Parliament, Sajjan Kumar, convicted and serving a life sentence in 1984 anti-Sikh riots. The Court has stated that there was no ground for hospitalisation reflected in the medical report submitted by All India Institute of Medical Sciences board warranting bail.
