SC Suspends Jallikattu, Bull-Fighting Sport Of Tamil Nadu - (12 Jan 2016)

Supreme Court has suspended Centre's notification lifting ban on jallikattu, traditional bull-fighting sport of Tamil Nadu. Last week, the Centre had lifted the ban on the sport circumventing a Supreme Court ruling of May 2014.
