CIC Slams NGT over Spending Thousands to Claim Rs.40 - (12 Jan 2016)

Central Information Commission (CIC) has slammed National Green Tribunal (NGT) for apparently paying over Rs 33,000 as litigation fee to contest its demand of Rs 40 for the disclosure of information, despite instructions from a senior official within the organisation.
