Jharkhand HC: Payment of Fine is Mode of Punishment; Cannot Be Condition for Bail - (23 Apr 2020)

CRIMINAL

Jharkhand High Court has held that the Court cannot impose 'any condition' that it likes while granting bail and that the conditions laid down in a bail order have to be in consonance with the object and purpose of grant of bail.
