Madras HC Dismisses Plea Against Exemption Granted to Print Media - (13 Apr 2020)

MEDIA AND COMMUNICATION

Madras High Court has dismissed a Petition filed against exemption granted to the print media from the nationwide lockdown, holding that "mere apprehensions" that newspapers may carry the Coronavirus cannot be the basis for restricting the right to information of the citizens.
