Delhi HC Directs for Reformation and Rehabilitation Plan of POCSO Convict - (04 Mar 2020)

CRIMINAL

Delhi High Court has directed the Superintendent of Tihar jail to prepare an appropriate rehabilitation programme for the convict under Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act (POCSO Act), 2012 by noting that 'the sentence acts as a deterrent and is simultaneously reformative with a prospect of rehabilitation.'
