Delhi High Court Tests Police’s Emergency Helpline Number - (05 Feb 2020)

CIVIL

Delhi High Court has tested the Delhi Police’s single emergency helpline number ‘112’ during proceedings and found it to be functional. However, the lawyer representing the police and amicus curiae assisting the Court in a Public Interest Litigation relating to women’s safety differed on the response time taken by the police in answering the call.
